Indoor soccer feet only

Last Thursday RecWest Braybrook played host to almost 100 students that participated in the school holiday soccer tournament. This number has doubled since last holiday program which is a tribute to the organisers, RecWest in partnership with Phoenix Youth Services.

“The tournament provides the young people of the area with something to do for a very small price” said Yasmin McKenzie of RecWest. The cost for the day is a $2 coin donation; they play sport all day and are provided with a BBQ lunch.

A similar tournament will be run for those who love Basketball this Thursday 11 July. Run in conjunction with Helping Hoops, young people aged 12+ will be able to join in the morning clinic, have some lunch and then participate in the afternoon tournament all for the bargain price of $2.

For a more regular catch up and to join in similar activities, the Big Bang program is run every Friday during school term. There are Basketball, Soccer and Dance activities followed by a dinner, again for only $2!

For more information on any of these activities, please contact Yasmin at RecWest on 9311 3400
